We combine community-submitted reports, photos, and videos with automatic weather and tide data for every beach in Hampton Roads — from Buckroe to Sandbridge — and soon, the Outer Banks.

How rankings work

Each beach gets a 0–100 score based on the latest community report: water conditions count for 40%, weather 20%, beach conditions 20%, crowd 10%, and parking 10%.
